RESPECTFUL COMMUNICATION: STRENGTHENING WORKPLACE RELATIONSHIPS (ELGIN)

  • St Thomas-Elgin Social Services 230 Talbot Street St. Thomas, ON, N5P 1B2 Canada (map)

Facilitated By: Michael Lewis,  Director and Founder - Michael Lewis Training, Motivation and Development

In this workshop we discuss and examine some case studies that highlight and emphasize the importance of respect as it applies to our personal and professional lives. We'll look at five steps you can take to resolve issues when they emerge. We'll discover the importance of listening and common yet important communication skills…and then we see how they come together. We'll experience how our words and actions can impact others and we'll always remember going forward that words and actions can be like weapons to some and that we always have the power and opportunity to present " roses". Finally, we'll commit to being kind and know its value in our day to day interactions and learn what it takes to be an "uplifter”and being a positive influence on everyone you meet.

Michael Lewis (he/him) is Managing Director of Michael Lewis Training, Motivation and Development, a London, Ontario based training and development firm that was founded in 1994 and specializes in developing and delivering personal and professional development presentations, seminars, webinars, workshops, and team building facilitation to a wide range of clients.
