THE MYTHS OF MENTORSHIP

Facilitated by: Kayla Paquette, Strive Community Animator

Director, supervisor, manager, coach, etc. It can be hard to come to a mutual understanding when there are many terms being used interchangeably in this field. This opportunity invites individuals who work in and/or are curious about mentorship. Together participants will reflect on what mentorship is and share experiences, ideas, and resources, offer one another support, listen and ask thoughtful questions.'

Kayla Paquette (she/her) is a registered Early Childhood Educator. She graduated from Fanshawe College’s Honours Bachelor of Early Childhood Leadership program in 2019. Prior to this role, Kayla worked as a Pedagogical Mentor for a childcare and early years centre. She looks forward to connecting with the broader community through Strive, offering her support in a greater capacity.
