COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE: LEADERSHIP

  • Strive (Hybrid) 265 Maitland Street London, ON, N6B 2Y3 Canada (map)

Facilitated by: Kayla Paquette, Strive Community Animator and Bre Piccolotto, Strive Data Specialist

This opportunity invites professionals who work in leadership positions (e.g., director, supervisor, manager, coordinator) to come together and collaboratively reflect on leading and supporting professionals in various early learning and child care programs.

Participants will share experiences, ideas, and resources, offer one another support and mentorship, listen, and ask thoughtful questions. Topics may include administration, communication with families and professionals, inspiring a team, and much more. Conversations emerging from this group will be ongoing.

Kayla Paquette (she/her) is a registered Early Childhood Educator. She graduated from Fanshawe College’s Honours Bachelor of Early Childhood Leadership program in 2019. Prior to this role, Kayla worked as a Pedagogical Mentor for a childcare and early years centre. She looks forward to connecting with the broader community through Strive, offering her support in a greater capacity.

Bre Piccolotto (she/they) is a Registered Early Childhood Educator and the Data Specialist at Strive. They graduated from the Early Childhood Education Fast-Track Program at Fanshawe College in 2020. Though working mostly with data in her day-to-day, Bre is passionate about professional learning and advocacy for the early years sector.
