EMBRACING THE POWER OF MULTIPLE GENERATIONS IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

Facilitated by: Michelle Dagnino, Executive Director, Jane/Finch Community and Family Centre

We will delve into the rapidly changing landscape of early childhood education, where teams are  composed of professionals spanning multiple generations—from seasoned educators to recent graduates. Participants will gain insight into the unique perspectives, communication styles, and learning approaches each generation brings to the workplace. Through an engaging blend of industry research and real-life success stories, collectively, we will outline strategies for fostering a culture of mutual respect, knowledge exchange, and collaborative innovation. Attendees will leave equipped with actionable ideas for attracting, engaging, and retaining talented educators at every stage of their careers, ultimately strengthening the programs they lead and the children they serve.

This session is a follow-up and continuation of the conversation begun during Michelle Dagnino’s Winter Rethink 2025 presentation.
